About

EMERSON'S YOUTH FOUNDATION

Emerson's Youth Foundations is dedicated to empowering young people through sport, mentorship, education, building strong athletes, and even stronger individuals. Founded by Emerson Miranda, a coach with a decade of experience and the coach of such programs as GABOS Wrestling Academy and The Bronx Bears Football, which provide structured training in wrestling, football, and strength training development.

Our Mission is to instill discipline, work ethic, confidence, leadership, and academic excellence in every athlete we serve. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all youth, regardless of race, religion, financial status, school, or background, have equal access to opportunities that help them grow, succeed, and uplift one another.

Through the support of donations and community partnerships, Emerson's Youth Foundation provides essential resources, including sports equipment, training, field permits, indoor space, coaching, clinics, travel opportunities, and scholarships and financial assistance. We strive to remove barriers to participation while creating life-changing experiences and pathways to higher education through scholarships earned by dedication, consistency, and character.

Our goal is to develop champions not only in competition, but in life, young leaders who carry integrity, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact on their communities and the world.

THE BRONX BEARS FOOTBALL

The Bronx Bears is a youth football organization located at Pelham Bay Park, the Bronx, NY.

Hello, my name is Emerson Miranda. I am the owner and founder of The Bronx Bears Youth Football Organization, GABOS Wrestling Academy, and Emerson's Youth Foundation. I've been coaching both youth football and youth wrestling for the past 10 years. I currently coach at Collegiate School, an Ivy League Private School in Midtown Manhattan.

I do what I do to give every kid a real opportunity to grow through sports, mentorship, and education, regardless of their background. My goal is to build not just strong athletes, but disciplined, confident, and resilient individuals who succeed in school, lead in their communities, and carry values that make a lasting impact in life.
